Galvanized Carbon Steel Welded Wire Mesh
Galvanized carbon steel welded wire mesh combines welded wire construction with a specified zinc coating for protective fencing and enclosure work. Dongce supplies project and bulk orders for highway boundaries, livestock and poultry facilities, and construction sites.

Specify zinc coating requirements, exposure conditions, service expectations and any coating inspection criteria. Welding and cutting can affect coating coverage and should be addressed in the order specification.

Specify Clear Opening or Wire Spacing
State whether your mesh dimension is the clear gap between adjacent wires or the centre-to-centre wire spacing. These are not interchangeable. For parallel equal-diameter wires, clear opening equals centre-to-centre spacing minus wire diameter. Provide a dimensioned drawing and tolerances when matching an existing component.
The specification table is a reference for quotation, not a stock guarantee. Confirm the measurement convention, material, wire diameter, tolerances and manufacturing feasibility together before ordering.
Coating and Environment Selection
Specify electro-galvanized or hot-dip galvanized finish, coating requirements and whether galvanizing is required before or after welding. Weld areas and cut edges need particular attention when assessing coating coverage.
Galvanized carbon steel is not a direct substitute for stainless steel in aggressive chemical or hygiene-sensitive service. Review temperature, cleaning chemicals and any contact restrictions. Where appropriate, compare stainless steel welded mesh against the actual exposure.

Project Design and Acceptance
Highway mesh fencing is intended here for boundary isolation and access control, not as a vehicle crash barrier. Construction fence mesh is not automatically a fall-arrest system, load-bearing platform or certified reinforcement mesh. Provide the required project standards, drawings and acceptance criteria before ordering. Posts, frames, fixings and installation design must be assessed together with the mesh.
For livestock and poultry enclosures, state the species, age or size, enclosure purpose and cleaning conditions. Opening size, wire ends, installation and maintenance must be reviewed for animal safety and containment.
