Stainless steel crimped wire mesh is woven from stainless steel wires that are accurately pre-crimped before weaving. The formed wires lock together at every intersection, producing uniform openings, high rigidity and excellent dimensional stability. It combines the strength of crimped woven mesh with the corrosion, heat and hygiene performance of stainless steel.

Available Crimp Styles
- Double Crimp: warp and weft wires are crimped at each intersection for regular square or rectangular openings.
- Lock Crimp: pronounced crimps firmly lock the wires and improve stability.
- Intermediate Crimp: extra crimps between intersections strengthen large-opening mesh.
- Flat Top Crimp: provides a smoother working surface for material flow and reduced wear.

How to Calculate Mesh Count
Crimped wire mesh is normally ordered by clear opening and wire diameter. Approximate mesh count per inch = 25.4 ÷ (opening in mm + wire diameter in mm). For accurate manufacturing, please provide both dimensions rather than mesh count alone.

Stainless steel grade, wire diameter, clear opening, crimp profile, panel dimensions and surface condition are checked during production. Fabricated panels can also be inspected against drawings and installation tolerances.
Packaging
Rolls are protected with moisture-resistant wrapping. Sheets and panels are secured on pallets or in wooden cases to protect edges and maintain flatness during export transportation.
