Carbon steel crimped wire mesh is a strong and economical pre-crimped woven screen made from low-carbon or high-carbon steel wire. The wires are formed before weaving, allowing the crimps to lock each intersection and maintain stable square or rectangular openings during screening, guarding and general industrial service.

Galvanizing can be completed before or after weaving according to the required coating coverage, appearance and application. For long-term exposure to aggressive chemicals or marine conditions, stainless steel may be a more suitable choice.

- Double Crimp: accurate square or rectangular openings for general screening.
- Lock Crimp: deep crimps firmly secure the wire intersections.
- Intermediate Crimp: additional crimps improve rigidity for larger openings.
- Flat Top Crimp: a smoother working surface improves material movement and reduces wear.

Please provide both clear opening and wire diameter. Approximate mesh count per inch = 25.4 ÷ (opening in mm + wire diameter in mm). Also state the required surface treatment, panel dimensions, edge design, quantity and operating environment.
